In response to the current cost of living crisis, the Volant Charitable Trust is prioritising the focus of its awards this year on organisations who are addressing poverty and deprivation, helping to support those vulnerable groups who are most affected.

This focus on poverty and deprivation can include a range of projects food provision and promotion of healthy eating in areas of extreme deprivation to mental health projects for vulnerable groups living in poverty.

Organisations can apply for up to £5000 and decisions are made twice yearly in April and October. Applications for consideration in April next year need to be submitted by 11^th December 2023.
