Third year of Health and Wellbeing funding for communities

The Scottish Government’s Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is about to launch for its third year with £15m of funding.

The Fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and aims to support grass roots community groups in tackling mental health inequalities and challenges such as social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, poverty and inequality.  This third year of funding will see a continued focus on responding to the cost-of-living crisis.

Funding is delivered and managed locally by Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs) and all local application processes for 2023-24 will be live by 29 September 2023. You can find out about application processes by contacting your local TSI directly.

The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund was launched in October 2021, initially investing £36 million over two years (2021-23).
