Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has launched a public consultation on their new Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) for the west of Scotland.
The new RTS will set out policies to guide decision-making on transport by SPT and partners in the region, and to deliver a new vision for transport for the region.
SPT covers 12 local authorities in the west of Scotland, and community councils from any of the following areas may be interested in responding to the consultation: East Dunbartonshire, East Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire and the Helensburgh and Lomond area of Argyll and Bute.
Community councils within the Strathclyde area can read the draft Regional Transport Strategy online, and the consultation is open until 28 October 2022: https://www.spt.co.uk/spt-across-the-region/what-we-are-doing/regional-transport-strategy/vision/
