The National Lottery Community Fund is supporting the UK Government’s Together for Our Planet initiative, which aims to inspire communities to take positive environmental action in their local area.
Launched to coincide with COP26, which starts on 31st October in Glasgow, Together for Our Planet was set up to celebrate and encourage small-scale environmental projects, and the National Lottery Community Fund is making funding of between £1000 and £10,000 available to support local green initiatives.
Applications are welcome whether you have an existing project which needs funding to continue, or even if you only have an idea for an environmental scheme and need help getting it off the ground. Any application with an environmental benefit will be considered for the Together for Our Planet grants, and you should be able to demonstrate that the project is one which matters to the local community.
Between 400 and 500 awards will be made, and the National Lottery Community Fund is looking to support a diverse range of projects across the whole of the UK.

Applications close at 5pm on Thursday 18th November, and a decision will be made within 12 weeks of that date.
