Community Paths Grants Open for Expressions of Interest

30 April 2021

Community Paths Grants

Community Paths grants support communities to create, promote and maintain local community paths and the fund administered by walking charity Paths for All is open for expressions of interest.

Community organisations and registered community charities such as community councils, development trusts and community woodland groups working in Scotland can all apply for the funding.

To be eligible for Community Paths grants, projects must provide opportunities for people to get more physically active outdoors and in contact with nature. Funding can be used to create, promote and maintain community paths.

Community Councils who wish to apply for funding should read the guidance first and if they believe they have a project that could be funded the first step is to complete an Expression of Interest.

The Active Environments team at Paths for All can help and support applicants through all the stages of their community paths project, you can contact them via e-mail communitypaths@pathsforall.org.uk or call 01786 641851.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm on Monday 24th May 2021.
