Scotland's Towns Partnership launches Town Centre Toolkit

town partnership sceneScotland's Towns Partnership has released a new toolkit called the Town Centre Toolkit. The Toolkit contains ideas and examples of how people and organisations can make their town centre more attractive, more active, and more accessible. It should be used as a source of inspiration rather than a set of recommendations.

The toolkit is part of Scottish Governments Town Centre Action Plan and Creating Places which sets out recommendations on how to create living and vibrant town centres.

The toolkit is divided into three themes attractive, active and accessible, and includes a section on making it happen. Using case studies for inspiration, the toolkit is designed to give everyone the opportunity to be involved in making improvements to their local area and offers guidance on how to make best use of the assets already in place.
