News story posted: 12/08/2019

The Big Climate ConversationCommunity groups including community councils can apply for funding to host Big Climate Conversation events and there’s even a free resources pack to get you started.

Scottish Government are encouraging communities to hold their own workshops and contribute to the conversation. The fund will help support community groups who otherwise would not be able to cover the expense of hosting a workshop.

The fund is open now with grants available from £100-£300 and will close on 21st October 2019.

Organisations who are able to hold a workshop by 31st October and provide feedback within two weeks of their workshop taking place can apply for funding.

The fund will support workshops which support the aims of The Big Climate Conversation to engage all sectors of society on Scotland’s response to the global climate emergency.

For more information on the fund and how to apply visit The Big Climate Conversation Community Fund.
